Job Opening: Assistant Pharmacist

Description:

Hamsa Pharmacy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Pharmacist to join our dynamic team. The Assistant Pharmacist will work closely with our licensed pharmacists to assist with daily operations, providing high-quality healthcare services to our customers. This role involves handling prescription medicines, managing inventory, assisting customers with over-the-counter medications, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide information to customers on the proper use of medications, side effects, and drug interactions under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist
Ensure that the pharmacy complies with all regulatory and safety requirements
Prepare medications for dispensing, including counting tablets and labeling bottles
Answer customer inquiries and provide recommendations for over-the-counter medications and health products

Manage the inventory of medications and healthcare products, ensuring that stock levels are maintained
Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy area
Assist with administrative tasks, including filing and maintaining customer records
Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure efficient pharmacy operations

Eligibility Requirements

Educational Qualification

Diploma or Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institution (D.Pharm or B.Pharm).

Experience

Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred but not mandatory.
